SHARING & CARING is a quarterly newsletter by and for fans of the Everly Brothers. SHARING & CARING is published by GEAR, the Gifted Education Association of Reading. GEAR is an all-volunteer, 501c3 non-profit organization. All profits from the newsletter are used to support programs for gifted, creative, and talented students, including a scholarship for music students. We welcome contributions of postage stamps, "Campbell" labels, and sheet music. All donations and cash contributions to the scholarship fund are tax deductible.

What's the Connection? Everly fans know that there is no one more gifted and talented than Don and Phil. It's a natural! Fans (and the brothers) are assured that the newsletter is not being run for personal profit. And there are programs for gifted and talented students that would otherwise not exist. All non-profit organizations do some kind of fund raising activity. This is ours!
