Thank you for your interest in SHARING & CARING. Our newsletter is published in March, June, September, & December. A typical issue includes tour schedules & reports, reviews, interviews, letters, features, photos, and tidbits. S&C began in 1986 and has not missed a deadline. The newsletter operates with Don and Phil's knowledge and consent. Although most of our members are in the USA, we also have members in Canada, England, and Holland.

One of our special projects is a library which includes newspaper and magazine articles, audio cassettes (concerts, radio & TV appearances and other rare recordings), photographs, records, CDs, posters, videos, pins, books, etc. We have over 250 audio cassettes, 150 videos, 6 albums of photos, and 5 cartons of clippings.

S&C has produced bumper stickers, color photo pins, white mylar decals, heat transfers, buttons, magnets, a sturdy 7x8" cardboard fans saying "I'm an Everly Brothers Fan," and custom-designed Everly T-shirts. The Audio/Video List is updated regularly. In 1997 we put out the 8th edition of our Guide to newspaper and magazine articles, The Everly Brothers in Print. The 50-page listing also includes information on books and catalogs.

Whenever possible we deal directly with record companies and publishers to bring our members access to Everly material not found in local stores. Audio and video tapes are available on a trade-only basis. Send one we don't have and take your choice from our collection. Copies of articles from our library are also available on a trade basis. Trades need not be for like materials.

Our goal is to provide as much information as possible to Everly fans. Our basic philosophy is that all our members are an important part of the organization and that everyone is entitled to express his or her opinion. We encourage open and honest communication among Everly fans everywhere. Let us know what special features you'd like to see, what you have to contribute, or what special column or article you would like to write. We are always looking for good quality, never-published photos. To submit photos, write your name and photo description on a label and then paste the label on the back of the photo. Do not write directly on the back of the picture. We're looking forward to your contribution. You may also submit original artwork, poetry, prose, etc. provided it has not been previously published.
