Why Join GEAR? Gifted students need special help to achieve their full potential. By working together we can support and improve local programs. This is of crucial importance now that school districts are administering their own gifted programs. We can also help each other with the difficult and demanding job of parenting a child who is "different."

Your membership provides the financial and moral support needed to achieve our objectives. Through the newsletter we keep you informed about programs, legislation, funding and national issues, and other matters that will influence the education high-ability students will receive. Your $12 annual membership includes a newsletter subscription, use of the library, access to information sheets, and a discount at the conference and seminars.
