I have been to all of Arner's locations and would definitely recommend their deep dish coconut custard pie. Overall, if you are looking for a reasonably priced, well maintained restaurant with good food and clean restrooms, Arner's is great. It is not a gourmet restaurnat and neither are the prices!

I just returnrd from Arner's Crossroads this evening and it was the best dining experience of my life! I ordered a mixed grill And my husband ordered a 6oz filet mignion. I have been to Arner's once before for breakfast and it was ok, (my eggs were a little oily) but this dinner was amazing! I had to ask my waitress, Ruth, who made my dinner...All I've got to say is if you go to Arner's on 61, ask for Brent(their cook)!! You won't be disappointed!!!!

Recently at Arner's we had very poor service. We waited a long time to be seated. The waitress was not friendly and did not offer a soda refill even though my cup was on the edge of the table. The place was really not clean, with a messy unwiped table under our placemats, and a floor that had not been vacuumed in some time. Finally, the pie, my long time favorite here was not fresh. It had a dried up topping. When we asked the waitress if it was fresh, she said that it was just made this morning and you could tell that because it was so lumpy (coconut creme). Other than a great cheeseburger, our experience wasn't great.

Arners is OK, but the one in Mt. Penn seems to be a little dirty compared to the others, and the service somewhat lacking.

As you are probably well aware, the restaurant situation in Berks is very dynamic. New restaurants open and old restaurants close on a regular basis.
