Well I will have to say I have had better. This is an old building that used to be a nursing home from what i have been told. It is fixed up very nicely and is a "fine dining" type atmosphere. We were shocked at the prices of things on the menu. There was nothing under 17.95. The food was good but I did not feel it was anything worth the price. Salad bar was included in your entree and when i took one bite of the cole slaw it had soured and it stung my tongue if you have tasted anything that has gone bad you will know. I didnt think at the price of the entrees and atmosphere that such a horror would or even should occur. It just told me that they obviously reused and recycled just a bit much. As myself and my friend were sitting there we noticed that every single table around us were using there entertainment card when paying for there bill..We laughed and said..no wonder there are so many people here! We were the only ones there without a buy one bet one entree free in the room. We wont be back! |

WONDERFUL... I think it is the nicest place to eat in the county. They have a colonial style dinning room and also the garden room; both are wonderful. The food is excellent and the wine list is good to boot. Service can actually be a little too much at times (we once had a rather bothersome waiter). Price is high, but worth every cent. BOTTOM LINE: EXCELLENT |

As you are probably well aware, the restaurant situation in Berks is very dynamic. New restaurants open and old restaurants close on a regular basis. We need your help keeping this restaurant listing up to date. If you know of a new restaurant that isn't on our list, or a listed restaurant that has closed, we would appreciate it if you would let us know. Thanks!! |
