I had the fortune to go to The Porch for a special birthday dinner. Compared with fine dining at the Hershey Hotel, the Top of the Triangle in Pittsburgh, and several other restaurants which boast exceptional food, the dinner at The Porch outranked them in quality. It is certainly comparable to dinners I had when I was in France several years ago. The atmosphere was pleasantly understated and intimate. It was nice to have the focus on the food rather than having the distraction of decor. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking an amazing dinner and I hope to get back on a regular basis. |

My experience at The Porch was very nice. The service was good, the food was good and the wine selection was nice. I recommend the elk. However, the fish was just as good. |

As you are probably well aware, the restaurant situation in Berks is very dynamic. New restaurants open and old restaurants close on a regular basis.
