My finacee and I came here because we received a $50 Gift Certificate from a friend who really enjoys coming here. After we were finished, I was glad that WE weren't footing the majority of the bill. Ok, they somehow LOST their reservation book. Odd, but not a problem since I had called to confirm the reservations a few days before. The restaurant was nice inside, but I noticed a huge generation gap. We being in our early thirties and the majority of the patrons there being easily double our age. My food was good, not great. I had the Filet Oscar, which is two steak filets with crabmeat, asparagus, and bernaise. Steak and crab were great, I've had much better bernaise. My fiancee had the stuffed flounder which was very good. Our main problem was with the service. We were never asked if we wanted a beverage, even when we ordered. The waitress mostly ignored us, too busy with a larger party across the room. When we tracked her down to ask for something, she would take a long time and usually ended up getting things for the big party first. When we finally got drinks, she never came to see if we wanted more, and we did! To top it all off, she miscalculated our bill, adding an extra $10 to the total. I was afraid to point out the error in fear of having to wait 15 minutes to get the bill back! My fear was justified as we watched her walk over to the big table and prompt refill their drinks! That was the icing on the cake!
