first off it,s no longer called garden. It,s Rt. 61 diner now .I can tell you from experince that the difference is like night and day better food and service is much better. especially for breakfast. If you havent been there you should check them out

A very good Diner, my favorite actually. The place has very good food at reasonable prices. It is clean and has good service. The waitresses and waiters are very nice and friendly. The salad bar is delicious. They have a variety of food.

i am a regular at what we "the diner." the food has gotten extremely better as the restaurant has gotten new ownership. if you drive by you will see that they are under construction. they are remodeling the inside and outside of the entire building and hope to be finished by the end of november. i personally think that the service is decent but that just may be because this place is like my "Cheers."

Food is ok - but please be careful of the service. The last time my husband and I were there we had to throw our empty soda cups on the floor in order to be asked if we wanted a refill. Not telling which one us did that.

Typical Diner. Food is consistantly like OK diner type food. Place is pretty clean, service usually not bad. I say...ok.

My best advice is go right next door to O'Gradys. Better food, better service, and 50 times cleaner. The Garden is not the worst place in the area, just go to the diner across from the reading stadium for that, but its just OK at best. Nothing more, nothing less.

As you are probably well aware, the restaurant situation in Berks is very dynamic. New restaurants open and old restaurants close on a regular basis. We need your help keeping this restaurant listing up to date.
