Consistently good food. Nice atmosphere. Best Prime Rib in town. Highly recommended. |

Food and atmosphere are excellent. But get rid of the karaoke. The last thing somebody wants is to go out for a nice quiet dinner and enjoy excellent food only to hear a bunch of idiots get drunk and try to sing. If the owner himself is into karaoke, then buy a fire hall to keep the crowd away from your dinning room. |

Having moved here recently from New York, we tried Anthony's and was pleasantly surprised. The food is excellent, service was good and prices moderate. This restaurant has nice decor and makes you feel like you're Italian. I highly recommend Anthony's. |

I wasn't at Anthony's for years and my husband and I decided to have a romantic Valentine's dinner there. We had reservations and showed up on time. However, we still ended up waiting for about an hour to get seated because it seemed as if they over booked themselves. The lobby/bar area was so crowded with people waiting for a seat that the waitstaff was having problems getting through. After that, it went downhill. We were there for at least 3 hours because of the terrible service. At one point, we started talking to the table next to us because neither of us had seen out waitress and wanted to get more drinks. Meanwhile, we saw another waitress about 20 times. Maybe it would be different on a normal day, but I would be leary going there again. |

Wonderful dining experience. After ordering our meal, it felt as if the food just kept coming. We received our appetizers, followed by bread, doughballs and salads. Next came our entree (which was out of this world)! We finished off with a look at the dessert tray and ended up sharing because we were so full. By far the best dining experience I have ever had. This outdoes all of those fancy high name restaurants that are popping up everywhere. This is hidden in a neighborhood, so if you don't know how to get there, call and get directions - or you are missing out!!! |

A great restuarant tuckked away where no one will find it accidently. I thought the food was only surpassed by the friendly service. The entertainment (one woman show) heightened our enjoyment. I found a great Italian restuarant in Berks Co. and I could not be happier. |

The food is simply ok. Not great / Not Bad. Lunch is better. I like the baked scrod they serve at lunch it is very good, but you have to ask for it if it isn't on the menu. Now, if you drink Cosmos, or Martini's or Manhatten's - up, get one. While they may cost you $5.25 you get a full side car so you are really getting 2. The drinks like these are great and remind you of yesteryear. Also, they have discounted on appi. during the week at certain times. I'd recommed it on those nights to go out with a group of friends, have appis and tie a good load on. Go for the drinks listed above if you like them. |

Yah, I'd agree with that. The service when I was there was very good, as was the desert, but the entree was just OK. |

Food is excellent, from soup to nuts! They have a garlic soup that is just awesome.(You also need to try the powdered dough balls and cheesy bread) Agree with the drinks, my husband drinks Jack Manhatten's and they are simply the best at Anthony's. Veal dishes are always my choice and they are always great! Highly recommended for anyone. Friday night karaoke in the bar area is a huge hit! Fun dinner night with a bunch of friends, or a nice romantic night out with just two. |

As you are probably well aware, the restaurant situation in Berks is very dynamic. New restaurants open and old restaurants close on a regular basis. We need your help keeping this restaurant listing up to date. If you know of a new restaurant that isn't on our list, or a listed restaurant that has closed, we would appreciate it if you would let us know. Thanks!! |
