Our whole experience there was terrible. The baked fish I ordered seemed to have been cooked many hours earlier and warmed under under a heat lamp before serving - the lettuce "garnish" was blackened and crumbling. A very upset stomach followed later that night. Another guest asked to have his home fries redone because they were icy cold. When they brought it back, they said "this was freshly cooked". Well, the top layer was dried out and hot, and the under layer was cold and pasty. Obviously, they'd just warmed up the old potatoes, then lied. The waitress was clueless and completely unconcerned about our experience. The service and food is inconsistent - sometimes good, sometimes as mentioned above. We may go back again, but it's unlikely we'd want to risk getting sick.

YUM YUM YUM! Margarita Wings--excellent, Soft pretzels-- excellent, beers--excellent. Service--maybe our server had a "down" night. Otherwise, highly recommend.

The Kutztown Tavern offers a clean, enjoyable experience. The waitstaff was attentive and very nice throughout the meal, despite it being a larger party and the restaurant being rather busy. The food was cooked well and organized. Despite having some steaks and other items that required longer cooking times, everyone's meal was brought out in a timely fashion. Most importantly, the beer was quite good, with plenty of flavors to choose from. A good spot for the local beerlover. Overall, I thought highly of my experience.
