This place is always consistent. The food is great and the service is good. My husband has taken business associates from Italy here. They were even impressed by the food. |

My favorite all-time restaurant! Food is fresh, the place is so clean! Now you know why they are always so busy! Worth the wait. |

admittedly, too loud, and I hate going to places where i have to wait to sit and eat. But the very cool waiter made up for it, and the food was better than I expected. I left in a good mood, and thats not always the case with place in berks county! 4 stars out of 5. |

Not impressed. I ate at an Olive Garden in Lancaster, years ago, and loved it. I was glad when we finally had one in the Reading area. However, I went there with a friend and was disappointed. The food was mediocre at best, and for the price we paid, we got very little. I won't be going back. |

Wow. Tasteless pasta prepared by high school kids and ex-cons... that really is authentic. Forget the long line and go to Santino's and be happy. |

I agree with Mags. Bland would be the word. It's not horrible... but you're better off sticking with the mom & pop places for real italian food. |

The Olive Garden is quite good, and consistent. The service is OK, but sometimes a little slow. Their salad and soup are good, and most of the entrees are good - every once in a while you'll get a clunker. |

Standard chain restaurant fare which I quite enjoy. Good and attentive staff. |

Good food but not not worth the usual wait IMHO. Also, it's TOO LOUD! How about some carpets or curtains to absorb the noise? |

My friends love this place, and I can never see why. I grew up with my neighbor's Italian cooking, so granted, my standards are high... but Olive Garden's food is bland, though the salad is usually decent. Not enough garlic, not enough spices, and not nearly enough basil. If you're willing to make the extra drive, Salvatore's on 422 in Wernersville (across the street from the Chevy dealer) is cheaper and friendlier, and offers much tastier food. Sal's is still mainstream Italian cooking, nothing splendid, but it's much more flavorful (and fresher!) than anything I've had at Olive Garden. |

As you are probably well aware, the restaurant situation in Berks is very dynamic. New restaurants open and old restaurants close on a regular basis. We need your help keeping this restaurant listing up to date. If you know of a new restaurant that isn't on our list, or a listed restaurant that has closed, we would appreciate it if you would let us know. Thanks!! |
