LAWS DON'T DEFINE ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR
THEY PROSCRIBE UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR !!!

The United States was a free country (before it was taken over by people trying to enforce rules of their own making) and ANY conduct is acceptable unless there is a law prohibiting it.

Read the LAW! It DOESN'T SAY - "It is ACCEPTABLE to drive a vehicle which permits a person to view the inside". NO! It says "It is UNACCEPTABLE to drive a vehicle that prevents a person from viewing the inside."

HERE IS TABLE X

   TABLE X—ACCEPTABLE LIGHT TRANSMITTANCE LEVELS
FOR VEHICLE GLAZING
All light transmittance levels listed below assume a 3% accuracy (±3%).

Front SideRear Side
Vehicle Type Windshield Windows/Wings Windows/Wings Rear Window
Pre-1998 Passenger Cars 70% 70% 70% VESC-20*
1998 & Newer Passenger Cars 70% 70% 70% 70%
Trucks & Multi-Purpose
Passenger Vehicles
70% 70% No Requirement No Requirement
Medium/Heavy Trucks & Buses 70% 70% No Requirement No Requirement
All Other Vehicles 70% 70% No Requirement No Requirement

Just because Table X says that 70% transmittance is acceptable it does not imply that any transmittances less than that are UNacceptable.

A local store says that 'Check or Credit cards are acceptable for payment'. Does that mean they won't accept cash?

A local restaurant says that 'Casual Wear is acceptable'. Does that mean a suit and tie are prohibited?

LAWS IN AMERICA DO NOT DEFINE ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR, ONLY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR

Have you ever seen a Law that tells you that it is acceptable to sleep in the nude, drink coffee in the morning, or brush your teeth.

It sure sounds stupid, and it's frightening to think that some people who call themselves 'law-enforcement officers' will try to enforce FACT SHEETS and TABLE X's which purport to define 'acceptable' behavior IN CLEAR VIOLATION OF THE ACTUAL LAW (4524 e 1).
