Yet the Table X Enforcement officer doesn't seem to care. Oblivious to the actual crimes that he was hired to fight, the Table X Officer has illegally stopped the vehicle, since he has no real probable cause that a crime has been committed except for the presence of Legal Tint. He has trampled both the US and State Constitutions.
He accuses the vehicle owner of committing a criminal offence (violating 4524 e 1) by not permitting the officer to see the inside of the vehicle. He threatens that if the owner does not 'comply' by removing his legal tint, he will have to pay money. He'll even take you to Court to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that he couldn't view the inside of the vehicle.
Behind the Blue Wall of Silence you'll find other officers who aren't too sure about the legality of stopping vehicles to enforce non-existent laws. Rather than question their superiors or PENNDOT, they prefer to offer their fellow officers assistance in stopping and illegally searching the vehicles by measuring the windows. They encourage other officers to believe that they can stop a vehicle whenever they want and search it, even without a warrant.
